We like a lot of smoothies in our home. Here's a protein smoothie recipe I'd like to try:
- 2 cups mixed berries, (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup silken tofu
- 1/4 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon finely grated peeled ginger
I also enjoy making the kids smoothies and use various fruit depending on what is available. Here are some ideas to try: pineapple, mango, banana, and orange.
